Drs. Mary Lou and Kenneth Frank
Welcome!
Mediation, at its best, is more than just solving a specific problem; it can be a transforming endeavor. Utilizing skills developed through years of experience in mediation and business settings and based on current research in psychology and mediation, we have provided workshops and educational programs as well as mediation services to benefit people across groups, organizations, and countries. We have been humbled to work with the International Academy of Dispute Resolution, reaching students and professionals internationally and helping them learn conflict resolution skills and peacemaking. We have also been humbled to work with law schools, bar associations, judges, mediation groups, countries, and other organizations to develop skills and connections that utilize the tenets of mediation to connect and resolve conflicts.
The Mission of Transforming Mediation is to provide mediation and negotiation training; support mediation programs in countries, communities, law schools, and universities; expand the understanding of mediation to include the importance of research in psychology and other fields; and help people develop skills that foster compassion, mutual understanding, and peace. To facilitate these aims, we provide training, support research, teach courses, offer consultation services, and present to groups seeking more peaceful ways to resolve conflict. The scope of our work is both national and international as we work to build bridges and connections in an increasingly conflicted world.
Please, email us if you have any questions.
